South Sister Series

Caroline Moses’ imagery draws from personal narratives. This series, titled South Sister, began with two paintings in which she transforms memories through the re-appropriation of symbols from or associated with these events. As the odd one out in her parent family, she borrows from Oregon’s Three Sisters mountain range, identifying herself as the more rugged south sister.
